This course will be an introduction to interdependent relationships in ecosystems. Students will explore various ecosystems. They will build on their knowledge of energy flow and what parts individual organisms can play. As they gain a greater understanding of the interactions and relationships within ecosystems, they will develop an understanding of how those relationships can affect one another and the health of the entire ecosystem. 


This course will teach about organisms, their adaptations, and how those adaptations allow them to live comfortably in their habitat. This online experience will also teach independence within a student while learning how to cooperate with a partner. 

In this Moodle, students will learn about different organism’s characteristics in terms of life cycles and traits. Students will explore different organisms and discover what they are like. They will also get to create a make-believe creature and give characteristics to it.

3rd Grade Science

In this course, students will learn about the problems that led to the assembling of the Philadelphia Convention, the issues that were central to the delegates, and the debates between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists over the compromises that were struck.

We have learned that we use commas in everyday writing, like with greetings, dates, lists, etc. So what are the exact rules when using commas and what else can commas do for us to make our writing even better?

In this course, students will learn about the aspects of recycling and why it is important to our environment. The students will be given an aspect of recycling and teach others why, in their opinion, we should recycle. This will be demonstrated using facts, definitions, reasoning, and details.

First Graders will review the names and value of each coin (penny-quarter).  Students will learn to count change up to $1. Students will work on matching coins to equivalent sets of other coins/bills. 

 

This online experience will help children to recall, express, and organize their life while practicing their writing skills.
