For this fifth grade English Language Arts Moodle, I have three objectives:
When asked to write a poem about a person, students will be able to:
Analyze and communicate a personality from different points of view
Use alliteration, rhythm, meter, and rhyme, as well as figurative language such as metaphors and similes
Use appropriate digital tools, such as audio and video recording to enhance and communicate their poetry
Students will accomplish these objectives by studying imagery in portraits and in literature. They will then write their own poetry using the website Storyweaver.com.

Grade 3 Math
Goal and Objectives:
Students will be able to draw out multiplication problems to show understanding that 5x7 is five groups of seven or vice versa.
Students will be able to draw out division problems to show understanding of distributing ones of a number into how many groups there are, or breaking a number into groups of the divisor.
Students will be able to solve multiplication and division word problems using drawings and symbols to represent missing numbers
Students will communicate with eachother via moodle chat
Description:
From this lesson students will learn about the relationships between multiplication and division. Learning to group numbers to build to other numbers or to break larger numbers down. This will be accomplished by watching videos for instruction, playing games to help them practice master this mindset, and completing some practice problems. Student will also master how to draw out these relationships and groupings.

Students will use moodle individually to research how certain countries were affected by the Versailles Treaty. Students will be assigned Great Britain, France, Russia, Germany, Austria, and America. Links will be posted on moodle and the students will have a day in class and a few days outside of class to research and create a powerpoint.
The powerpoint should include a short introduction to the Treaty of Versailles, and a couple of slides for each country, discussing the basics of how they were affected by the treaty, with relevant images on each slide.
At the point that students are doing this assignment, they should have a proficient understanding of World War One, as this assignment is designed to be at the end of the World War One Unit. Designing the lesson this way seemed like a relatively good way to get students learning on their own about a very important topic. My plan is to have students focus on the debt caused by the war and the Treaty of Versailles, changes of boundaries, and its effect on all countries listed above.
Grade: High School 10th/11th Grade

This lesson is to teach 10th grade geometry students how to solve right triangles with trigonometric functions, also known as 'trig functions'. Through the course students will learn trig ratios to solve for unknown sides and angles on given right triangles, and also be able to use formulas accurately that contain trig functions.
- Teacher: Kendall Carter-ncs17
This fifth grade English lesson teaches students onomatopoeia and helps them recognize this type of figurative language in comic books. Students will demonstrate comprehension of onomatopoeia by recognizing words in comics. They will also be able to apply their knowledge and the structure and narrative form of comics to create their own comic strips containing onomatopoetic words.
