Student will take prior knowledge of 19th century imperialism to relate the experiences of women and children living in this time. Students will work in groups to create presentations using ScreenCastMatic, PowerPoint, Google slides and a video-making program of their choice. By using these programs students will take information from primary and secondary sources to tell the story of a women or child (male or female) who lives in the colonies or Europe. This project will give students the opportunity to build skills to use different technology to create meaningful presentations on the information of the lesson and then share with the rest of the class.
