This lesson will be geared towards 8th grade French students. We’ll focus on the vocabulary and culture of music in France. Because this is geared towards middle schoolers, we won’t look too much into the history of individual composers, but we will listen to music from a selection of time periods, and think critically about how music is a powerful cultural tool.
