Ecosystem Interactions

This Moodle is designed for a 5th grade science class. In this Moodle, students will be exploring how matter moves through an ecosystem and the many interactions that occur between organisms. Students who participate in this Moodle will engage in a variety of interactive activities to meet the objectives listed below. Some of the activities include discussions, creating a food web, taking an online quiz, and completing a crossword. 

Objectives:

Students will be able to describe that the energy from animals’ food sources was originally from the sun.

Students will be able to describe the interactions that occur between matter and energy in organisms in an ecosystem.

Students will be able to create a model of the movement of matter among animals and plants in an ecosystem.
